Description

Introducing the Scorpion M-2205-2350kv quadcopter motors, developed for the Scorpion Sky Strider 280 FPV Quad Kit. These motors offer tremendous power for your FPV Quadcopter, and will work in quad or hex frames from 230 to 300mm in size.

These Scorpion motors are built with a small amount of free play in the motor shaft, and a small spring wave washer is installed on the shaft in between the inner bearing and the back side of the front housing. This gives the bearings a slight pre-load and allows the bearing tube in the motor to expand slightly when the motors get hot, without putting the bearings into a bind. There is a bit of +/- tolerance in the shaft, so you will see some that do have a very small amount of end to end play. This is normal, and does not affect the operation or lifespan of the motor in any way.

Included in each box is a matched pair of the M-2205-2350 motors, with one set up for normal rotation props with a gold right-hand prop nut, and the other is set up for reverse rotation props with a black left-hand prop nut. Also included with the motors are two 4-packs of M3 x 6mm mounting screws. These motors will work great with either 3-cell or 4-cell Li-Po power, depending on the prop size that is used. Note: Due to the extreme nature of FPV Racing, these motors are not covered by the standard 2-year Scorpion warranty. The M-2205-2350kv motors are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of purchase. To verify proper operation, the motors should be tested before they are installed onto your FPV racer. Once the motors are flown, the warranty period expires.

This downloadable PDF file shows the step by step process to use for interpreting the data shown in the Motor Performance Graphs. What Scorpion ESC would you recommend to run these? I see it only fit to run all Scorpion power on a scorpion airframe. :)
