Cobra Brushless Multirotor Motors offer performance and value for Your RC Models. They are built from high quality components, and are designed to give years of top-level performance. All Cobra Motors are shipped in a custom designed package that features protective foam on all sides, with separate compartments to protect the motor and accessory pack.
The Cobra CM-2206-30, 1400Kv motor is extremely versatile, and can be run on 3-cell, 4-cell or 6-cell Li-Po power. For 300mm to 350mm quads running on 3 Li-Po cells, this motor will spin 8 inch Multirotor props and make 28 ounces of thrust. On 4 Li-Po cells, the same motor will run 7x4 props and produce over 30 ounces of thrust. On 6 Li-Po cells, you can get similar performance from 5 and 6 inch props. The Cobra CM-2206 series motors have a 3.0mm motor shaft for extra strength, as well as oversize ball bearings to support the shaft and provide a long life. The stators are made with 0.20mm laminations for maximum efficiency and minimum Eddy Current losses. Since these motors are typically soldered directly to the speed controller to save weight, the 2206 motors come without bullet connectors and feature extended pre-tinned motor leads that are 10 inches (254mm) long. These motors also have 3mm threaded holes in a 16x19mm pattern on the back plate for easy installation on your model.
The new Version 2 model of the CM-2206 series motors feature a magnet locking system, machined into the rotor can, which eliminates the possibility of the magnets slipping out the back of the motor.
Like the previous model, they also include an integrated 5mm threaded motor shaft which eliminates the chance of having a prop adapter spin off in flight. The included nylon insert prop nut with built-in prop flange provides a solid attachment for your propellers that will not loosen up and slip during use.
