For many aircraft, you often need to mount your motor away from the firewall to get the prop in the correct location. This is especially true for glow models that are being converted to electric power.
Our new series of cage style motor mounts allow the motor to be mounted away from the firewall, providing the spacing needed to get the prop out in front of the cowl.
This mount is designed to hold motors in the 30mm to 35mm size that have hole spacings of 25mm square for the mounting screws, and up to 45mm in diameter. The complete dimensions are given in the drawing below.
Lucien, will this fit the back of a Cobra 2140/22? If not do you have an alternate cage style mount that will fit the 4120?

The Cobra 4120 motors have 4mm mounting holes on a 30 x 30 mm spacing, so they will not fit on the 90mm cage mount. We do not have a packaged cage mount that would fit. However, if you buy an additional C-MMS-41 motor mount, and some standoffs, you can make your own to whatever length you need.
