How long have you been in the hobby? 37 years of flying experience. I have always been fascinated by airplanes so I started building plastic models when I was young and that transitioned to radio control.
How did you get started in the hobby? I started flying slope gliders in 1978 and my interest in aerobatics grew from there.
What machines/equipment are you running? I fly a Phillips Aircraft Conquest IV (1989) that I converted to electric - Scorpion 4025-10, Cobra 80 ESC, 6s 5000 mAh battery. I will be starting construction next year on a MK Super Chipmunk 120e that has been designed around a Scorpion SII-4025-440.
Recent competitions/fun-flys attended? I participate in Classic Pattern Association contest here in Southern California throughout the year. I am currently the Advanced Class Southwestern Regional Champion.
Which is your favorite Scorpion/Cobra product? I am extremely happy with my Scorpion 4025-10 motor, absolutely flawless performance! My Cobra 80 ESC is the perfect combination of performance and light weight!
