Cobra Brushless Motors offer performance and value for Sport Flyers and Competition pilots alike. They are built from high quality components, and are designed to give years of top-level performance. All Cobra Motors are shipped in a custom designed package that features protective foam on all six sides of the box, with 3 separate compartments to protect the motor, accessory pack and cross mount.
The Cobra 2826 series motors have a 5mm shaft for extra strength, as well as oversize ball bearings to support the shaft and provide a long life. The internal bearing measures 11mm x 5mm x 5mm and the outer bearing measures a massive 16mm x 5mm x 5mm! The stators are made with 0.20mm laminations for maximum efficiency and minimum Eddy Current losses. Also included on the motor are ultra-flexible motor leads with high-temp silicone rubber insulation and 3.5mm bullet connectors already installed.
The Cobra C-2826-EF1 motor was developed for Electric Pylon Racing, and has been accepted as a certified motor by the EF1 Competition racing committee. The Kv value of this motor is optimized for use with an APC 8x8-E prop running on a 4-cell Li-Po battery pack, as stated in the EF1 Racing Rules. The rear shaft on this motor is cut shorter than the standard Cobra 2826 motors. There is just enough protruding to use the optional shaft retaining collar, for additional security on the motor shaft, with none extra protruding into the battery compartment of your model.
